We recently needed to find a cattery for our 17 year old cat who is also deaf and never been to a cattery before. The vet had also recommended that we find somewhere that she could have an individual unit because of her age and no hearing. We were fortunate to find Purradise Manor with Kirsten and her family. Smoochy stayed in her own lovely individual unit with all the facilities and yummy food a cat could desire, with a lovely bush outlook from the bay window in her unit and she was very safe and secure. Everyday she received cuddles and grooming , which she absolutely loved. She looked really good when we picked her up. It was so good to go away and know she was well cared for. Each evening we received photos and update of how she was and what she had been up to during the day, which was reassuring and we looked forward to the updates. We had excellent, quick replies and easy communication, drop off and pick up with Kirsten. I would definitely recommend Purradise Manor.
Kylo had a lovely stay at Purradise Manor. He seemed to relax into the environment quickly and we were regularly updated on his holiday adventures. We will definitely be using this cattery again. Easy communication, booking, drop off and pick up.
If you are looking for a home away from home for your cat, look no further. Molly has stayed twice now, the last time for 10 days. Kirsten, Chris and the boys have created a lovely environment, full of toys and playthings, and shower love and cuddles on the cats. The cattery has a large open area full of nooks and crannies waiting to be explored, and a secure, covered deck which looks out over the Titirangi bush. Lots of windows also provide views where the cats can watch the bird life along with the chickens. The private rooms are large and airy, each with a bay window so there’s always lots to look at. The cats are given regular grooming, yummy meals, lots of fresh water – what more could they want. I certainly recommend Purradise Manor and am sure Molly will become a regular visitor.
We booked Dudley into an individual unit at Purradise Manor as he can be a bit boisterous with other cats, but he is also a playful cat. Kirsten, Chris and the boys took fantastic care of him and could see that he wanted to be in the communal area for some play time and so they monitored him and he was allowed to have access to the communal area and toys, not just the ones in his individual unit. Once it was established that he was fine in the group he was allowed out during the day. When another cat came that was also boisterous Kirsten and Chis let Dudley out for an hour or so at night once the other cats had gone to bed for the evening and played with him to make sure his needs were meet. Dudley’s coat was shiny and he was laid back when we picked him up. It was the most relaxed we have ever picked him up from a cattery. Kirsten and Chris treat the cats as their own and it is fantastic that a cattery of this caliber has opened in our area. I highly recommend Purradise Manor, so would Dudley! We’ll be back!
I felt so lucky to find Purradise Manor Cattery. I needed a place for our cat for a month while we were overseas and from the very first time we went to check it out I knew it was perfect. Beautiful setting, gorgeous brand new cattery with all the mod cons, and a lovely family looking after the cats. What more could you want! Billie had a fab time hanging out in the communal area and made friends in the month she was there. She arrived home happy and the photos and txts while we were away were much appreciated by our kids who were missing the cat like crazy. Kirsten even took time out of her busy day to make a FaceTime call to us on the other side of the world to reassure our daughter that Billie was safe and sound. This place is a five star hotel for cats!!

Absolutely love this place!! And so does our cat. Kirsten and her family are so friendly and caring and always willing to go the extra mile. I never have to worry when our cat is staying here because I know he’s in good hands. We’ve been returning customers since February and Will always continue to do so!!

Two days before our 2 cats were due to check into Purradise Manor for their 2 week stay, we found out that our old girl Matilda, had advanced cancer and was very sick. The vet prescribed steroids and warned us that she could go downhill very quickly and we should sign a consent for euthanasia before we went on holiday just in case. It was really distressing to be leaving her and I was concerned that it was a lot to ask of Kirsten to take responsibility for all of this. When I spoke to her about Matilda’s needs, she couldn’t have been more helpful and didn’t hesitate to say that she was happy to care for her. She took the lead in making contingency plans with me in case Matilda got really sick whilst we were away and I felt so relieved that she was in good hands. I am so pleased to say that all was well and Matilda is still going strong but I am very grateful to Kirsten and her family. Her two boys gave Matilda extra head scratches, which she loves, and Kirsten looked after her complicated medicine schedule. Thank you Kirsten and your family for your caring attitude and dedication to all the furry creatures that come into your lives! I couldn’t recommend Purradise Manor more highly J

I can’t recommend Purradise Manor enough! Scrumpy is a reasonably delicate / high maintenance cat, and Kirsten and the team took such good care of her. The place is fantastic, I don’t think you could find somewhere better suited for your fur-baby! I will definitely be a return customer 🙂
I would love to book our cat back in at Purradise Manor. Our cat has been so happy and loving since she came back. She is usually quiet and distant when she comes home from the cattery she was in previously.
We had our three cats stay for a month in May/June 2018. From the start, they were treated like family in a very modern clean boutique cattery. The owners have a personal approach with each cat and get to know their personalities. The cats look to have enjoyed the stay and seemed to not want to go home!! We will definitely be using them again and highly recommend them.
Our cat Mavis stayed at Purradise Manor for 3 weeks while we were on holiday, it was obvious that she had been really well looked after and the owners were lovely and clearly genuinely care for and pamper the animals in their care……
Mavis stayed in an individual unit but still received plenty of attention, time and care, Kirsten, the owner, was very accommodating and flexible, she was willing to meet individual needs and also for Mavis to spend some time in the communal area during the day if she wanted to. The photos and text updates were fantastic and put our minds at ease while on holiday.
Mavis has been very relaxed and chilled out since returning home which reflects how well she was looked after, we will be using this cattery again and would definitely recommend it ?

I would give 6 stars if I could! I cannot say enough about this lovely caring luxury cat hotel and how amazing Kirsten and Chris have been. We needed somewhere to take my elderly Dad’s beloved and very shy cat 15 yr old cat when he had to go to hospital suddenly. We chanced upon Purradise and are so glad we did. Nothing was too much trouble for them, from being flexible with an open ended stay, staying open late to accommodate the ferry from Waiheke, special care and attention for Percy as he became accustomed to being without Dad/with other cats and also loaning us equipment so he could go and visit with Dad. Kirsten also took the initiative to take him to the vet when needed. Percy has actually come out of his stay a much friendlier, cuddlier and happier cat – we are joking that he went away to Kitty Charm School! If you are considering sending your cat here, look no further, they will be so well loved and cared for.
I am very happy with the care my cat Bella received, and the customer service definitely exceeded my expectations! She was very happy and relaxed after her stay, and I really appreciated the text updates I received, and loved seeing her pics on the Facebook page. I will definitely be bringing her back to stay, and would highly recommend Purradise Manor to anyone looking for a cattery

This cattery was recommended by my vet and I couldn’t be happier with the level of care my cat received over the 14 day period she was here. I loved the facebook page and seeing photos of her and the other cats settling into their new environment. I also loved receiving personal regular updates from Kirsten as to how she was getting on. Our wee boy Ianto had a very pleasant long-term stay at Purradise Manor. Kirsten was so good to him (and us) settling him in, sending us pics, and allowing us to visit each week. He was very well cared for and I’d have no hesitation recommending Purradise to anyone looking for a high-quality cattery that cares about each furry friend individually. My mum is now bringing both her cats to stay with Kirsten soon – a very high endorsement!

Purradise Manor is fantastic! Wonderful modern facilities and tons of toys, ladders, hidey holes and high shelves. Most importantly, the cats are not stressed and are happy and affectionate. Highly recommended.
After a lot of research I am so pleased I found purradise manor cattery to look after our Alfie for three months. He was clearly very loved, brushed and well taken care of. The facilities are great and the owners are such kind lovely people. Thoroughly recommend.
Left our 7mth old kitten with Kirsten and the family at this cool cattery. Came back a week later to find him playing happily on the walkways. He was relaxed and happy but more importantly pleased to see us. Thank you so much for taking good care of him.

This is an incredible cattery. Kirsten is an amazing owner and goes out of her way to ensure the cats are looked after brilliantly. My cats stayed in the cattery for five months and came out happy, healthy and full of energy. My one cat has a health problem and nothing was too hard for Kirsten to look after him. He has safe, happy and I had every confidence that Kirsten was watching him carefully every day. She went out of her way to cater to our needs and allowed us to visit every week. She smiled and updated us with confidence. We could not have wished for a better cattery. Would highly recommend Purradise Manor as a great place to leave your fur babies!
