VACCINATION POLICY

All cats must have a current 3 in 1 vaccine (yearly – regardless to whether it is a 3 year vaccine – eg felocell-3).  Proof of vaccination must be produced and sighted at drop off.

The minimum vaccination required is for Feline Panleukopenia virus, Feline Rhinotracheitis (herpes virus) and Feline Calcivirus.

The vaccination(or booster) must be current for the entire boarding period and must have been administered no less than 10 days prior to check in at Purradise Manor. Purradise Manor will not accept any cat that is not deemed appropriately vaccinated or has been vaccinated less than 10 days prior to check in.

NEUTER/SPAY POLICY

All cats must be de-sexed.

INTERNAL/EXTERNAL PARASITES (Fleas and worms) POLICY

Purradise Manor requires that your cat be treated for fleas and worms 1 week prior to arrival. If your cat has fleas or worms present, these will be treated at the owner’s expense to ensure comfort of our other guests in the cattery.  If your cat has a 3 monthly flea treatment this must cover the period they are with us.

ILLNESS/ACCIDENT POLICY

Full care and attention is given to each cat during their stay at Purradise Manor Ltd. In the unlikely event that your cat becomes ill or injured whilst staying at Purradise Manor we do not accept any liability or claims for illness, disease, accident or death of any cat.
In the event that your cat becomes unwell during their stay with us, we will make every reasonable effort to contact you (the owner) directly.

If we are unable to reach you, we will then attempt to contact your named Emergency Contact. In the event that neither party can be reached, we (Purradise Manor Ltd) reserve the right to seek prompt medical attention from a Qualified Veterinarian of our choosing to attend/treat your cat on your behalf.

Veterinarian’s decision on the best course of treatment is final. You (the owner) will be responsible for all and any subsequent on- going associated costs and such costs will be invoiced accordingly and are payable at time of check out.  A breakdown of costs will be supplied and are non-negotiable.

There is a $30 travel fee for vet visits. (local).

Isolation

Should any cat show symptoms of sickness that could be contagious to other guests, they will be transferred to our isolation unit and veterinary assistance will be sought with costs to be covered by the owner.

MEDICATION POLICY

We are happy to administer basic veterinary prescribed medication to manageable cats.

If your cat is unable to be safely medicated then it may be necessary for the cat to be cared for by a veterinary service. Any veterinary fees incurred in this situation will be charged to you prior to, or when collecting your cat.

PHOTO POLICY

You authorise Purradise Manor to use photos of your cat, taken during boarding for inclusion in Purradise Manor’s website, Facebook and other promotional activities. Please let us know if you do not want your cat included in this.

ABANDONMENT POLICY

Purradise Manor reserves the right to make suitable and alternative arrangements for any cat left in our care for 14 days after the booked departure date. We will make attempts to contact you (the owner) or your named authorised alternate person, but if you or your nominated person has made no communication and arrangements agreeable to Purradise Manor Ltd, we reserve the right to rehome or make alternate arrangements for your cat at our discretion.

Payment owed for duration of stay including re-homing costs will be passed onto collection agencies should we not be able to contact you (the owner). The owner will also be responsible for all collection costs, including any legal fees and service associated with the recovery of the debt.

BELONGINGS

All personal belongings left at our cattery should be labelled and are left at your risk.

TRANSPORTATION POLICY

Please ensure your cat is delivered and collected in a SECURE appropriate cat carrier.

PRICING AND PAYMENT POLICY

All rates apply to the arrival date and departure date regardless of drop off or pick up time. Rates apply to a calendar day.

Full payment (less any deposit) is payable on collection of your cat. Purradise Manor Ltd reserves the right not to release any cat until fees are paid in full.

Payments are accepted on site via: Cash, Eftpos, Visa or Mastercard. Deposits can be made via internet banking. We do not accept cheques.  A 3% surcharge will be added to Visa and Mastercard transactions.

Multiple cat bookings may be discounted. However this does not apply to peak times (22 nd Dec-31 st January, public holiday periods or school holidays).

A minimum stay of 7 days is required over the Christmas/New Year Period 22 nd Dec until 10th January.

A $100 non refundable deposit is required to secure peak season bookings.  A credit or refund is at the discretion of Purradise Manor Ltd.  Should travel/holiday be unable to happen due to Covid levels then a refund or credit will be given.

We reserve the right to charge for the period booked and not taken. A non refundable deposit will be required for the Christmas/New Year bookings.

Booking your cat/s into Purradise Manor Cattery is taken as full understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
